Dr. Mazaheri is an eye physician and a surgeon trained to perform a wide
variety of eye surgeries
His LASIK training was at Johns Hopkins Medical Center with Dr. Steven
Slade, using the most current machines for LASIK. Johns Hopkins has
been voted the best eye institute in the World.
Dr. Mazaheri started college at a very early age and spent the next
thirteen years studying to become an eye surgeon. He earned a
chemistry degree at George Mason University, then for medical school he went
to East Virgina Medical School. Dr. Mazaheri's internship was at George
Town Medical Center in pediatrics and later he went to State University of
New York for his eye surgery training. Finally he had a mini-fellowship
on Lasik at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. He also performs procedures
that one might spend 6 to 7 years in training after medical school, such as
Glaucoma value implants and eyelid plastic surgery.
His philosophy is that patients deserve the utmost possible quality of
care and that is why he personally spends about 2 to 3 hours with each
patient to ensure the LASIK measurements are absolutely correct. There
are NO technicians in our office that do any LASIK related measurements.
Yes, the doctor does his work from A to Z at the LASIK Center. Our
high success rate is our reward for the amount of precision and care he puts
into his work.
Many physicians had LASIK performed by Dr. Mazaheri (click here for
list;
their letters of recommendation are also available).
